Taken this fall. One of his favorite lookout spots, the tallest cypress in this section of the slough. I spot him sitting here quite often. Love those talons.
Thanks, Kat! This one is not far from a nesting site. Being able to observe these gorgeous birds is one of the benefits of living out here in the boonies.
This is a great shot! We have bald eagles up here and there's a bunch of them nesting just down the road from my brother's place.
